29-year-old who died on A1(M) near Sawtry was struck by lorry after getting out of his car following collision
A man who died on the A1(M) near Sawtry has been named by police, who confirmed he was struck and killed by a lorry after getting out of his car following a collision.
Nathan Thomas Morris, 29, of Plodder Lane, Farnworth, Bolton, died following the collision just before 7am on Monday January 17.
He had got out of his Ford Fiesta, which had collided with the central reservation of the northbound carriageway.
Police said a linked collision between a BMW 1 Series and a Nissan Leaf resulted in the BMW driver suffering minor injuries.
Officers are appealing for witnesses, dashcam footage or anyone who saw the vehicles in the moments leading up to the collision to get in touch.

The fatal collision came the day after three men were killed in another collision on the A1 in Cambridgeshire.
