32-year-old charged with causing serious injury to 15-year-old scooter rider by dangerous driving in Cambourne




A 32-year-old man is due to appear in court today (Thursday, 7 March) following an incident in which a 15-year-old scooter rider in Cambourne was left with serious injuries following a collision with a car.

Christopher Marshall-MacIntosh, of no fixed address, has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop after a collision and committing an act with intent to pervert the course of justice.

He is due to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates' Court today (7 March).

Emergency services were called to Back Lane, Cambourne, close to the junction with Sterling Way, at about 9pm on Monday, 5 March, where there had been a collision between a silver Audi A4 and a boy riding a non-electric scooter. The boy was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
