See a Aston Martin GT3 race car
Proud sponsor of Motor Show East, Mattioli Woods, has announced it will be exhibiting an Aston Martin GT3 race car when the show gets under way.
The prestige, aerodynamic car belongs to driver Graham Davidson’s Jetstream Motorsport team, which Mattioli Woods also sponsors.
It helped the 33-year-old Scot to claim the ‘Blancpain driver of the weekend’ award at Rockingham in May and will contest the remainder of the British GT Championship and the Le Mans festival this season.
In 2017, Graham also won the GT Cup Championship when he topped the leader board with 530 points.
His 2018 Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 will take pride of place on Mattioli Woods’ stand for a weekend of car-themed fun on June 2-3.
“We are honoured Graham’s prized Aston Martin will be with us when we exhibit at Motor Show East this summer,” said Mattioli Wood’s marketing operations manager Nicola Hilder.
“It’s a beautiful car, and one which will hopefully bring another successful season for Jetstream Motorsport in 2018.
“It’ll be sure to bring the crowds in, and we look forward to seeing everybody at Newmarket.”
Just pop along to the Millennium Grandstand at Newmarket Racecourse during the event to have a look at an extraordinary car and to meet members of the Mattioli Woods team.
Fun for the children
One of the aims of the organisers of Motor Show East is to make the event a family day out with entertainment for the children and adults.
They have been working hard to arrange a wide range of activities – all designed to ensure the younger visitors have a good time too.
While the parents get a thrill from the awesome automotive action, the youngsters can get their kicks from a bouncy slide, climbing wall, fun boats, a motion simulator, bubbles of fun, bungee trampolines, fun cars and a bouncy castle. Or why not pay a visit to the balloon pet shop or the Blue Kangaroo Face Painting area?

Race an F1 champion
Think you are better or quicker than F1 champion Lewis Hamilton? Well, at the Motor Show East you can show off your skills and have a free go on the driving simulators.
There will be a fantastic prize for the fastest lap time on each day (details to be announced), so this really is a great opportunity to show what a good driver you are.
The simulators are provided by Radical Simulation, so put on your driving head and speed over to the Millennium Grandstand to set your lap time. You’ll definitely have fun and you may even win a prize.
Enjoy great food and drink
Feeling hungry? Well the Motor Show East has plenty of options lined up to cater for all tastes and appetites.
Head over to the food hall, sponsored by Old Speckled Hen, and you’ll find an assortment of food and drink options – including the Hen’s real ales.
The show will also feature the Citroen 2CV Dolly, the world’s smallest food truck.
The design icon that is the 2CV turned 70 years old this year. The British are celebrating this birthday by transforming a 2CV into the kitchen on wheels.
Dolly has been fitted out with state-of-the-art cooking facilities, including a stainless steel kitchen.
The project is supported by around 50 partners and sponsors, including the ‘Best of British’ food, drink and innovation.
The build has been an all British affair, as seven Great British companies have joined forces to design, build and manufacture, in Britain, the 2CV into her 70th birthday repurpose design.
