7-year-old boy suffers serious, but not life threatening injuries after getting hit by coach in Cottenham

It is thought the boy fell off a scooter into the road.

Police were called at 8.40am this morning (Wednesday) by the ambulance service with reports of a collision between a seven-year-old boy and a coach in Cottenham High Street.

It is believed the child was riding a scooter on the pavement when he fell into the road.

Police say he has suffered serious but not life threatening injuries and has been taken to hospital by air ambulance.
