73-year-old motorcyclist from East Cambridgeshire who died in Stonea crash is named




A 73-year-old man who died in a crash in Stonea has been named as Brian Dewey, of Main Street, Little Thetford.

Mr Dewey died on Saturday, June 3, following a crash involving his orange Kawasaki Vulcan motorbike and a blue Volvo V60.

Emergency services were called just after 12pm to the B1098 Sixteen Foot Bank, between Stonea and Manea.

Paramedics attended but Mr Dewey died at the scene.

In a statement, his family said: “Brian was much loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.”

The driver of the vehicle, a 64-year-old woman, received minor injuries. She remained at the scene and is assisting officers with their inquiries.

Cambridgeshire police have renewed their appeal for witnesses.
