76-year-old woman dies after collision between car and lorry in St Ives

A woman has died following a serious collision between a car and a lorry in St Ives.

The 76-year-old, from Huntingdon, who has not yet been named, died at the scene following the crash on the A1096 London Road junction with Marsh Lane at 1.05pm on Tuesday, November 30.

Police, fire crews and paramedics attended. The driver of the lorry has been spoken to by police and inquiries continue.
