A-level results day 2024: Stellar results at The Perse in Cambridge
Students at The Perse School in Cambridge have achieved stellar A-level results with 130 pupils securing three or more grades at A* or A.
Overall, almost 81 per cent of A-level entries were graded A*–A, while a quarter of all students achieved three or more A* grades and a fifth (37 pupils) attained a ‘clean sweep’ of all A* grades.
Head Ed Elliott said: “I congratulate the Upper Sixth on achieving these excellent results which are testimony to their considerable abilities and sustained hard work. The year group has much to celebrate, and I wish them well as they progress to university and gap years.
“Year on year, Perse students achieve some of the best A level and university destination outcomes in the UK.
“This is reflective of the quality of teaching and pastoral support provided by Perse staff. I thank all Perse teachers and support staff for the parts they have played in helping our pupils do so well.”
