A-Level Results Day 2019: Comberton Sixth Form full results
Students at Comberton Sixth Form are celebrating after receiving their A-level results.
A staggering 84 per cent of all results at Comberton Sixth Form received the higher A* to C grades as the sixth form secured a perfect 100 per cent pass rate.
Almost two-thirds (60 per cent) of the qualifications achieved a B grade or higher, and almost a third (30 per cent) secured the highest A* and A grades.
Head of Sixth Form, David Clarke, said: “I am absolutely thrilled with the excellent results our students have achieved this year. Despite a number of significant changes to the post-16 qualifications, our students continued to secure some of the highest possible results in all our subjects.
“Early indications suggest that the vast majority of students who applied for university have been accepted into their first choices.
“The results are the culmination of two-years of hard work and effort for our students, and I wish them the very best of luck in their future endeavours, whether that is at university, and apprenticeship or employment.”
Chief Executive of The Cam Academy Trust, Stephen Munday said: “These results reflect the effort and hard work that our students, their families and our staff have put in over the past two years.
“I would also like to congratulate our Sixth Form team, who have continuously worked to ensure our students are able to make the next steps in their careers and leave with the right skills to allow them to thrive in the wider world.”
