Visitors from all over the world converged on IWM Duxford as the sun beat down on this year's Flying Legends air show.
As well as displays of aircraft taking to the air, there was plenty happening amid the bustle of the airfield with stalls, intricate models and enthusiasts in period clothing.
Visitor Mark Thomson said: “I’m over from the States and this was the best air show ever!
“Thank you for the hard work and dedication to keeping these magnificent machines flying!”
Michiel Peeters said: “We came over from Belgium. Great planes! Great flying! Great organisation! Outstanding weekend.
“Roll on the 2019 edition.”
A Hawker Sea Fury and Grumman Bearcat were among dozens of aircraft that took to the skies last week (July 14-15). Entertainment on the ground included the Hotsie Totsies and the Umbrella Big Band.
