Aircraft-themed play area opens at Imperial War Museum Duxford

A new Weston Play Zone is now open at Imperial War Museum Duxford, in time for the summer holidays.

The multi-sensory outdoor play experience is inspired by the themes, colours and shapes of IWM Duxford and is three times the size of the site’s previous play area.

The Weston Play Zone features a ‘playful plane’ – a new climbing structure filled with sounds and puzzles designed to thrill young aviation enthusiasts – familiar play items such as seesaws, swings, slides and trampolines, and a toddler area featuring a range of equipment.

There is also a play wall with interactive and sound-making elements.

The Weston Play Zone is free with general admission and is located next to the Armoury Café.

No reservation is needed. For more information, visit shorturl.at/1qDvn.
