Appeal after driver assaulted in Cambridge

A driver was assaulted in Cambridge by two men who threw bricks through the window of his vehicle.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was driving along Newmarket Road at about 7pm when a grey Range Rover stopped suddenly in front of him.

Two men got out of the car and started damaging the victim’s car, smashing off his wing mirrors and throwing bricks through his windows, leaving the man with minor injuries.
