Appeal as £20,000 toilet block stolen: Cambridgeshire police have nothing to go on
Cambridgeshire police have issued an appeal after a toilet block worth £20,000 was stolen.
The temporary block, which is described as “luxury” by its manufacturers, was stolen between 7.30pm on Sunday (August 29) and 5.30am the following day in Iretons Way, near Chatteris.
Cambridgeshire police said they are keen to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area at the time, may have noticed the block abandoned or who has any information concerning the theft.
It was Ronnie Barker who famously gave us the joke about toilets being stolen and police having nothing to go on.
But if you can help them in this instance, contact the force via their web chat service at https://bit.ly/3vsiYDw or online forms at www.cambs.police.uk/report quoting 35/58066/21. Anyone without internet access should call 101.
