Arrest made after motorcyclist dies in collision on A505 in Cambridgeshire




A motorcyclist has died following a collision on the A505, which has led to a man being arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving when under the influence of drugs and drug driving.

The crash happened just before 4pm on Friday (October 29) near to the BP service station at Whittlesford.

It involved a grey Mercedes C200 motorbike and a blue Vauxhall Grandland X.

Cambridgeshire police arrested a man in his 30s from Diss, in Norfolk, on suspicion of causing death by careless driving when under the influence of drugs and drug driving.

He was taken to Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough and has been released under investigation.
