The 22nd Camra (Campaign for Real Ale) Cambridge Winter Beer Festival drew the crowds to the University Social Club on Mill Lane.

Offering a wide range of beers from the UK and around the world, the event ran from Wednesday, January 17 to Saturday, January 20.

Organiser Clive Tregaskes told the Cambridge Independent: “It certainly exceeded our expectations – we actually had to close early because we ran out of beer.

“We had almost 3,000 people through the door and sold over 6,000 pints of real ale, plus cider and our collection of foreign beers.”
