The change is a result of the bank holiday weekend.

Residents in Cambridge and the surrounding South Cambridgeshire villages are being reminded that bin collections will be later than usual next week following the bank holiday weekend.

Collection in the week beginning Monday 29 May will take place one day later than usual, with Friday 2 June collections moved to Saturday 3 June.

All bin rounds return to their regular pattern on Monday 5 June.

Waste bosses are also reminding residents who crack open the BBQ, tackle their gardens or have a clear out at home to recycle as much as possible.
