Bloom Juice Co opens new branch in Cambridge

Bloom Juice Co, which specialises in smoothies, juices and fresh snacks, has opened a branch at 22 St Andrew’s Street in Cambridge.

The Grand Arcade store follows the company’s launch in Lincoln. Three more are also set to open by the end of the year, in Leeds, Derby and Leicester.

Bloom was founded by Steve Bryant and Jordan Dodd.

Steve said of the strategy: “It’s about looking at what’s available at the moment. Coffee shops and boba tea are very full of sugar – there’s no natural ingredients in what they’re selling.

“So what we wanted to do was bring something that was affordable, something that was fresh, and most importantly wholesome – and that’s our tagline: ‘Fresh, wholesome, goodness’.”

Steve and Jordan worked with a nutritionist to come up with the different drink combinations.

“That was a really important part of the mission,” says Steve. “We didn’t want to greenwash, we didn’t want to create a brand that wasn’t doing what we wanted it to do.

“So we brought a nutritionist on, Holly, and ultimately her job was to look at how can we create a menu that people enjoy to drink, something that’s actually tasty, but also is nutritious at the same time.”
