Body found in search for missing 29-year-old Nathan Cowell

A body has been found by Cambridgeshire police officers searching for missing Nathan Cowell.

The 29-year-old Cambridge City FC fan was last seen just after 8pm on June 6 at Riverside car park, in Riverside Road, in his home town of Huntingdon.

Police confirmed a body was discovered near Hartford today (June 10).

Although formal identification has not been completed, the body is believe to be Nathan’s and his family have been informed.

Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious and has been passed to the coroner.

The alarm was raised when Nathan did not return home on Sunday night and did not turn up for work on Monday morning.
