Santa will be in his grotto - with limited tickets on the day for £2 - and there will be free mulled wine and mince pies on offer in the market square, with festivities running from 5pm to 7.30pm.

The winners of a children’s fancy dress contest will switch on the lights on stage. Entertainer JezO has had to pull out, but live entertainment and magic will be offered by Sammy Magic Magic instead.
