What do you think about plans to improve bus services and cycling facilities to the west of Cambridge?

Residents can now have their say on plans to improve bus services, a new park and ride site and better cycling and walking facilities to the west of Cambridge.

The public consultation on the Cambourne to Cambridge better bus journeys scheme opened today (Monday 13 November). It is open for 10 weeks.

The scheme, put forward by the Greater Cambridge Partnership, aims to provide fast, reliable and sustainable transport links between existing and new homes and places of employment. It will also help reduce congestion on the A428 and A1303.

The Cambourne to Cambridge scheme plans to alleviate this by providing alternative and reliable options to driving.

A list of the events, which kick off on Monday 20 November at Madingley Park and Ride at 7.30am, is available online with information about the proposals and a questionnaire.
