If you live in a period property, then this family-run business is the place to go for refurbished or replacement windows and doors, as sales and marketing director Camilla Carter explains.

Cambridge Classics prides itself on offering first-rate customer service from the outset, with a member of their expanding team visiting the property in question to provide the owner with a quote in person.

The firm takes a non-hard selling approach, giving the customer the time they need to make a decision.

“Cambridge Classics refurbish or replace the existing windows or doors within your period or listed property,” explained Camilla Carter.

“Our unique selling point is that we interior/exterior decorate and offer a high level of service from a family business that cares.”

Camilla continued: “Cambridge Classics is now in its 18th year. My dad, Roger Yardy, created the business and it started out as painting and decorating firm.

“We’ve been replacing windows and doors for the last eight years and started refurbishing in January 2018.

“I worked very closely with my dad to help build up the business with regards to marketing and brand awareness for four years.

“Then last April my husband, Stuart, and I purchased the business from my dad so that he could semi-retire.”

Camilla said: “We are currently fitting 17 windows in a beautiful property in Fulbourn.

“We also have projects going on in Millington Road for a stunning front door with obscured glass and Oxford Road for sash windows.

“We are booking in for quotes two weeks ahead of the current diary and placing orders for projects to be completed in the middle of March.”

Interestingly, Cambridge Classics has a stunning range of doors, popular with clients, named after Cambridge University colleges.
