The charity has already raised £150,000 but needs more to complete the work

Emmaus Cambridge has launched a buy-a-brick fundraising campaign to support the charity’s expansion plans.

Building work is under way at the charity’s site in Green End, Landbeach, where 10 extra rooms will be created as part of a two-storey extension.

The charity has already raised £150,000 but more is needed to complete the work. Supporters can now help to raise the funds needed by buying a £5 brick which will be used as part of a feature on the site when completed.

“It is really important and very timely for us to have started this build now, especially in light of the growing levels of homelessness,” said community director Diane Docherty.
