Cambridge firefighters called to garage fire that was started ‘deliberately’




A garage fire in Carlton Way, Cambridge, is believed to have been started deliberately.

Two fire crews from Cambridge were called at 8.36pm last Friday (2 August) to extinguish it.

Two Cambridge crews also put out an accidental roof fire at a house on Mill Road on Saturday (August 3), using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

And at 12.24am on Sunday (4 August) , two crews were called to deal with an accidental flat fire in Elizabeth Way.
