Cambridge holds minute's silence for victims of Grenfell Tower disaster

Mayor George Pippas will lead the minute's silence at 11am from the Guildhall

Cambridge City Council staff and councillors will join residents and visitors for one minute’s silence at 11am this morning, as a mark of respect for the victims of the fire at Grenfell Tower in London.

Cllr George Pippas, Mayor of Cambridge, will lead the minute’s silence in front of the Guildhall, central Cambridge.

Cllr Pippas led a separate minute’s silence yesterday at The Great Get Together event in memory of MP Jo Cox.
