Cambridge Home + Garden Show returns to The Guildhall

Following its very successful inaugural event in September 2017, the Cambridge Home + Garden Show – supported by the Cambridge Independent – is to return as a two-day event on Saturday and Sunday, March 30-31.

The Cambridge Home + Garden Show is Cambridge’s first event dedicated to the best in home and garden design.

The 2017 event featured a packed exhibition hall, talks and workshops from experts, a pop-up café and free professional advice.

Cambridge Classics are the show’s main sponsor this year and will be creating a living room set on the stage.

Also taking part is cocktail bar Novi, an event sponsor, who will be returning with their pop-up café.

As well as the Cambridge Independent, the show is supported by other partners, The Crane Event, Karen Jinks Design and Independent Cambridge.

Organiser Jennifer Chong said: “I’m very excited to be able to bring the Cambridge Home + Garden Show back for a second event in 2019.

“The positive response from the first show was amazing and I’m still hearing about connections made and projects becoming a reality as a result of the event, and that makes me so happy.

“This year, the event is being expanded to a two-day event over a whole weekend. Many people were asking if they could return the following day and bring other people, or heard about it on social media and wanted to come along the next day.

“For all the work it takes to set it all up, it just made sense to extend it to a weekend and allow more people to experience it.”

Jennifer continued: “This year, the exhibition hall is still the main event and there will be some familiar faces as well as several new exhibitors.

“The list of confirmed exhibitors is on the website with more being added soon. In addition, Cambridge Classics, a main sponsor of the event, will be creating a Victorian living room set on the stage for visitors to experience.

“Novi are returning with their fantastic pop-up café and it’ll be bigger this time. There will still be a full programme of speakers and free Ask Me Anything design consultations, but I’m also adding a few workshops for visitors to get involved with.

“I’ll be announcing the schedule of talks and workshops soon and visitors can register for design consultations on the website now.

“Entrance is still free for visitors and you can register for tickets on camhomeshow19.eventbrite.co.uk.”
