Cambridge MP Daniel Zeichner dons his Christmas jumper for Save the Children

Cambridge MP Daniel Zeichner visited the Save the Children charity shop in the city to celebrate Christmas Jumper Day.

Raising awareness of the charity’s important work during the festive season, he joined staff, volunteers and shoppers – and donned his own colourful festive jumper. Christmas Jumper Day helps raise vital funds for the charity’s work supporting vulnerable children.

Mr Zeichner said: “Christmas Jumper Day is a fantastic way to bring people together, have some festive fun and support an important cause. Save the Children makes a real difference in children’s lives, and I’m delighted to join the team here in Cambridge to celebrate their hard work and encourage others to get involved.”

A festive display of jumpers, decorations and gift ideas were on show.
