Cambridge’s Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology celebrates Day of the Dead

The Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Cambridge is celebrating the Mexican Day of the Dead with an altar dedicated to the Mexican poet Octavio Paz.

The altar, which will be on display until Sunday (10 November), was created by the University of Cambridge Mexican Society, with some outside help.

“While many festivals associate ghosts and spirits with fear and sorrow, the Day of the Dead is a vibrant and joyful celebration.”
