Derek Lundgren, 59, of no fixed address, was handed the CBO at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on December 6 following his latest conviction for shoplifting from the Co-Op in Perne Road and B&Q in Newmarket Road.

He stole items including washing powder, alcohol and Christmas lights between October and November.

He was sentenced to a year and eight weeks in prison after pleading guilty to six counts of theft.

Sgt Dan Scott said: “Lundgren is a prolific criminal with a number of thefts against his name. We encourage those businesses affected to report any breaches, which will be taken robustly by the courts.”
