Cambridge taxi driver arrested on suspicion of drink driving

A Cambridge taxi driver has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a customer tipped off police.
The concerned passenger told the taxi driver to pull over on a motoway on Thursday (12/01/17) at around 17.30 because he suspected that the cabbie maybe over the drink drive limit.
The passenger called police after asking the driver to stop on the hard shoulder of the A1(M) near Stevenage.
A breath test recorded 171mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
