Cambridge Vintage Tours wins award

Cambridge Vintage Tours has been awarded ‘Historic Tour Operator of the Year 2020/21’ for Central England at the Corporate Livewire Cambridgeshire Prestige Awards.

The brainchild of Lee Cave, a former locksmith, bodyguard and chauffeur, the tours in Lee’s replica 1910 Model T Ford offer a different way to view his home city.

Lee, who notes that the enterprise only began operating in November 2019, said: “In August, we received an email to say that we’d been nominated for a Prestige Award and didn’t really think a lot of it...

"Because of how new we were, we didn’t think it would go anywhere – but last week we heard that we’d won, which was great.

“We’re really happy.”

Lee adds that the trophy presentation evening is scheduled for December in Birmingham.
