Cambridge woman found dead in home days after car crashed into wall
A 52-year-old woman from Cambridge has been found dead in her home six days after a collision where a car crashed into a wall.
Officers are investigating the incident where a car crashed through a fence and into a wall at about 5am on Friday (August 4).
The crash happened in Croft Holme Lane and involved a silver Vauxhall Astra. Police believe that no other vehicles were involved.
Officers found a 52-year-old woman from Cambridge about 500 metres away from the collision, who did not receive medical treatment.
The woman was then found dead in her home on Thursday, August 10.
Police say it is not known at this time whether her death is linked to the collision but a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out on a date to be set.
