Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity (SWCC) urgently needs a walled, completely secure garden for Alex the hedgehog to live in for the spring through to late autumn each year.

Alex was hurt as an infant and cannot curl up to protect himself and hibernate.

“The nest was attacked by a dog and all 6 were hand reared. The other 5 have been released to the wild and he is the only one waiting for a home,” SWCC tweeted.

The conservationist charity is looking for somewhere within a 10-mile radius of Cambridge/Shepreth.
