Cannabis plants worth up to £60,000 discovered in Hardwick raid

Cannabis plants worth up to £60,000 were discovered when police raided a property in Hardwick.

Officers, acting on information received from the public, raided the house in The Pastures on Tuesday (June 4).

They found 64 cannabis plants at various stages of growth, which would be worth up to £60,000 if all were to reach full maturity.

A 49-year-old man was found inside the address and was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and has since been released under investigation.
