LEARN MOREA cyclist is in a critical condition in hospital after a collision in Cambridge in which the car driver failed to stop at the scene.
The 31-year-old was cycling along Water Lane at 5.30pm on Wednesday, January 26, when the collision took place.
The car was described as silver and potentially an Audi, but did not stop.
The cyclist was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for treatment, where he remains in a critical condition.
Sgt Aaron Murphy said: "This was a serious collision, which has left a man in a critical condition in hospital.
“I would appeal to anyone who saw the collision, or who might have relevant dashcam footage, to contact us as a matter of urgency.
“I would also urge the driver of the car to do the right thing and get in touch.”
