Cause of Bourn fire to be investigated

An investigation has begun into the cause of a building fire on Toft Road in Bourn in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday, June 19).
Firefighters from Papworth, Gamlingay and Cambridge along with one crew from St Neots and two crews from Huntingdon as well as the incident command unit also from Huntingdon attended the fire shortly before 2am.
On arrival, crews found a fire in a campervan had spread to a nearby fuel tank and building. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a foam jet to extinguish the fire.
One crew remains at the scene while the cause of the fire is investigated.
