Children enjoy an eggs-tra special Easter at Northstowe
Pupils at Pathfinder Primary School in Longstanton recently enjoyed an eggs-tra special Easter after taking part in a seasonal egg hunt at David Wilson Homes’ Northstowe development.
A class of youngsters at the school were challenged to find 10 especially designed Easter eggs, on Monday, April 1, that spelt out the name of the new homes site, which had been hidden around the Wellington Road show homes.
After completing the challenge, the children joined the sales advisors outside the marketing suite to put their eggs together and spell 'Northstowe', before they each received the well-earned prize of a chocolate Easter egg.
Stephanie Redgate, head teacher at Pathfinder Primary School, said: “The Year 2 children thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the show home to take part in a specially organised Easter egg hunt.
“They are so proud to be part of a new community and taking part in events like this enables them to see first-hand how Northstowe is developing.
"We would like to thank David Wilson Homes for involving our children and demonstrating how important family life is in the local community.”
As Pathfinder Primary School is located on the Northstowe site, David Wilson Homes is continuing to forge strong relationships with the campus.
