Children learn all about the spirit of adventure at James Ketchell talk




Adventurer James Ketchell gave a talk to young people about his many adventures – and also provided them with the opportunity to ask questions – at Castle Street Methodist Church Hall in Cambridge last Saturday (June 24).

The event was organised by CB Mentoring, a local charity that mentors young people of colour.

Mark Woods-Nunn, Saturday school coordinator at CB Mentoring, estimated that around 40 people came, including the mayor, Jenny Gawthrope Wood, and a number of CB Mentoring volunteers including the charity’s founder Edwin Panford-Quainoo.
