CHS Group puts on an event ‘fit for a king’ to celebrate coronation
Residents at the Langdon House and Alex Wood House care homes in Cambridge, part of the CHS Group, enjoyed a coronation celebration over the weekend, with residents making bunting, arranging floral displays and decorating cakes.Parties were held in both homes which families and friends were invited to.
Clare Robinson, manager at Langdon House, said: “We have been so excited for the coronation celebrations and it was wonderful to see our residents marking such a special, historic occasion, especially as some of them witnessed the coronation of Elizabeth II more than 70 years ago.
