Cocaine dealer hid drug stash in sock
A cocaine dealer who hid his stash of drugs in a sock has been sent to prison.
Neighbourhood police approached Elis Kola who was parked up in his car on Herbert Street in Cambridge on 9 March last year after suspecting him of being involved in drug dealing.
Kola, 39, of Lesley Avenue, York, admitted to having drugs and officers found 22 wraps of cocaine worth more than £1,100 hidden in a sock in the door.
Kola was sentenced to three years in prison at Peterborough Crown Court on Wednesday (22 May) after being found guilty of possession with intent to supply cocaine.
Det Con Lauren Skinner said: “We will continue to disrupt and dismantle the activities of drug dealers who bring associated crime including violence, theft and burglary to Cambridge.”
