Cocaine dealer jailed after police stop in Cambridge
A cocaine dealer who was stopped by police in Cambridge has been jailed.
Joseph Dunkley was stopped by police in Mill Road on 24 January 2022 in connection with another incident.
He was searched and found with cash and cocaine.
His former home in Mill Road was also searched and a mobile phone, cannabis, cocaine and other drug paraphernalia were seized.
Dunkley, 20, of Oliver Way, St Neots, was sentenced to 21 months in prison at Peterborough Crown Court on Wednesday (21 February) after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession with intent to supply cannabis and activating a previous suspended sentence.
Detective Constable Sarah Lloyd said: “Drug dealing continues to be a priority for police in Cambridgeshire because of the associated violence, theft and misery it brings to the county.”
