Plans to transform the former Tivoli pub into a bar with crazy golf and riverside roof terrace have been approved.
The art deco-style watering hole, in Chesterton Road, Cambridge, was a J D Wetherspoon venue before it suffered extensive damage in a fire in 2015.
Current owner City Pub Group was granted planning permission today (September 4) by Cambridge City Council’s planning committee to redevelop the site.
The plans include two nine-whole crazy golf courses on the first floor, a yoga studio, shuffleboards area and bar.
