Crew called to car fire on the B1046 in Huntingdonshire
A fire crew from Gamlingay was called to a blaze on the B1046 on Monday (December 6).
The call was made at 10.33pm and firefighters arrived on the scene to find a car well alight in a lay-by near Abbotsley. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 11.55pm.
The cause of the fire was deliberate and after it had been distinguished, the incident was handed over to the police. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting cambs.police.uk to submit an online report, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
