A man in his 80s has died following a collision in Cambridge yesterday (Wednesday, March 25).

The cyclist was involved in a collision with a white van on the Newmarket Road roundabout with Barnwell Road at about 4.30pm.

Emergency services attended and the man was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where he died of his injuries today (Thursday).

The driver of the van remained at the scene and was not injured.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is asked to call 101 quoting incident 287 of March 25. Alternatively, you can report online.
