Cyclist in critical condition after collision in Cambridge




A cyclist in his 80s is in critical condition following a collision in Cambridge yesterday (Wednesday, March 25).

The cyclist was involved in a collision with a white van on the Newmarket Road roundabout with Barnwell Road at about 4.30pm.

Emergency services attended and the man was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where he remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the van remained at the scene and was not injured.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is asked to call 101 quoting incident 287 of March 25. Alternatively, you can report online.
