Cyclist in hospital with life-threatening injuries following collision with car in Little Wilbraham




A cyclist is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision in Little Wilbraham.

The man in his 50s was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, following the collision involving a Fiat 500 at the junction of Little Wilbraham Road and the A1303 between Stow-cum-Quy and Bottisham at about 9.15am today (January 27).

The driver of the car was uninjured.

Sgt Craig Wheeler, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who saw the collision, the car or bike in the lead up to it, or anyone who has dash cam footage.”

At 2.30pm, police said the road was due to reopen “imminently”.
