Dangerous driving probe after three-car fatal collision

A woman was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal collision.

Police said another woman had died following an incident involving three cars.

Emergency services have spent hours at the scene of the collision today, Friday December 22, on the A1307 between Linton and Horseheath.

The incident was thought to have happened at around 12.20am, which was when emergency services were called.

A police spokesperson said last week: “The collision involved three cars and sadly someone has died.”

The road is closed in both directions and people are asked to avoid the area or expect long delays.

Anyone who witnessed the collision should contact the Road Policing Unit on 101 quoting CC-22122017-0221.
