Daniel Zeichner will be holding a virtual school assembly this Friday (April 3).

The Cambridge MP visits a school in the city most weeks to take questions from pupils at assemblies.

But with the country in lockdown because of the coronavirus pandemic, that is currently not possible.

Instead, Mr Zeichner will hold his first online school assembly, with youngsters able to ask questions in advance via the MP’s website.

"Visiting our fantastic local schools and talking to pupils is something I always look forward to,” said Mr Zeichner.

“That's not possible at the moment but this is the next best thing. I look forward to answering questions from Cambridge's young people."

The assembly will start at 10am on Friday (April 3) on Facebook live at facebook.com/danielzeichnerlab

Questions can be asked in advance at danielzeichner.co.uk/assembly
