Driver suffers life-changing injuries after his car crashes into parked tanker on A14 in Cambridgeshire

A driver in his 40s suffered life-changing injuries after his car crashed into a parked tanker on the A14.

It happened at about 5.20am on Sunday, May 15 in the Fen Ditton area.

The man, who was driving a Fiat Panda, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where he remains.

The driver of the tanker was uninjured and remained at the scene.

Police have appealed for witnesses of anyone with dashcam footage of the vehicles in the moments leading up to the collision.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police either online or via 101 quoting incident 105 of 15 May.
