Empty Cambridgeshire office block to be turned into apartments

Award-winning developer Laragh Homes is set to generate 25 luxury apartments at Alexander House on Forehill in Ely.

Having acquired the commercial property last year, Laragh has since worked on plans to transform the empty office block into a new residential address for the area.

“This signals an exciting new era for both Alexander House and Ely,” said Laragh’s managing director Simon Somerville-Large.

“It is an exceptional location, set close to the vibrant city of Ely, with superb links to Cambridge and London – we hope to start our regeneration of Alexander House later in the year.”

Designed by award-winning architects Haysom Ward Miller, the 25 new properties will present high-specification living that includes parking and some great views across one of the UK’s most famous cathedrals.
