Family of young woman killed in traffic collision pay tribute

Joy Harrild, a dentist who worked in Cambridge, was killed in a traffic collision yesterday, Tuesday December 6.

The family of Joy Harrild, 26, who died in a collision on the A505 at Flint Cross yesterday morning (Tuesday, December 6) have released the following statement: “Joy was the brightest and kindest of us all. We are incredibly proud of the person she was and all that she achieved.

“An avid lover of the outdoors and baker of every birthday cake, Joy dedicated her life to helping others. She was passionate about her work and was at the heart of our family. We will miss her every day and will never forget the love she gave us all.”

Joy Harrild, 26, of Hunters Mews in Dog Kennel Lane, Royston, was travelling along the A505 at about 9.30am in her black Ford KA when it was in collision with two other cars. Sadly Joy died at the scene. She practised as a dentist at Brookfields Community Dental Services in Seymour Street, off Mill Road, in Cambridge.
