Family pay tribute to ‘much-loved’ great-grandmother who died in St Ives collision
A family has paid tribute to the 76-year-old great-grandmother who died following a collision in St Ives.
Sheila Simms, from Hemingford Grey, was in a car that collided with a lorry on the A1096 at the junction with Marsh Lane and London Road at about 1.05pm on Tuesday (November 30).
Officers, fire crews and paramedics attended but Mrs Simms died at the scene.
Her family said: “The family would like to thank all those who attended to our much-loved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother at the time of her passing. We now ask for privacy in our time of mourning.”
